Stone Shore

This landscape project was born from the need to find a balance between complex terrain and comfortable, safe outdoor use. The site’s elevation changes became not an obstacle, but an opportunity to create a clear structure that helped define spaces for children’s play and convenient movement around the plot. The key solution became a strip of stone “shoreline” that blends organically into the existing relief. The stones are arranged to evoke the impression of a natural bank. This structure is complemented by planting solutions that soften the stone mass, visually screen the fence, and help create a smooth transition into the adjacent pine forest. In the representative front area of the house, the designed stone compositions subtly emphasize the entrance space while also maintaining a simple, low-maintenance environment. The landscape is functional, natural, and aesthetic—exactly what the property owners wanted.
