Garden of Gentle Structure

A garden was created in a small private property, where a clear spatial structure is deliberately hidden within abundant planting. At first glance, the setting feels cohesive and calm, even though it is built on precisely planned, everyday-life-oriented zones. The main functional areas are laid out in the yard: a terrace, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, a seating area, a small vegetable patch, and a utility building. Visual boundaries between these zones are softened with plants, allowing the strict structure to blend naturally into the overall garden view. The owners enjoy growing roses, so it was important to integrate them into the garden’s overall design. Roses are paired with hydrangeas and tall ornamental grasses—these compositions give the plot a sense of lightness and subtle, playful color. A relaxation area with an inlaid stone-paver surface is formed as an additional place for slower, more unhurried time. It is separated from the main terrace and richly planted. This is a structured, yet everyday-friendly garden where clearly planned functional zones seamlessly merge into a cozy and peaceful environment.
