Cozy plot with a pond

The owners of this property felt that the existing 63-are site was not reaching its full potential—the home lacked privacy, and the existing pond and spacious yard were rarely used. The main goal of the project therefore became the creation of more enclosed, calm spaces for relaxation and everyday outdoor living. On the street side, the plan is to form mounds and plant them with larger trees and masses of shrubs, creating a more sheltered, private inner courtyard. A large terrace is designed here with a whirlpool tub and sun loungers. Next to it, a glazed outdoor kitchen is planned—as a separate space, yet closely connected to the terrace. This zone allows not only cooking, but also spending time outdoors in any weather. The pond shoreline is designed as a quiet relaxation area with a large fire pit and a stepped wooden terrace for comfortable access to the water. Floating islands planned within the pond not only create a romantic atmosphere, but also contribute to the balance of the water ecosystem—helping regulate water temperature and improving water quality. Planting solutions across the entire site create a park-like atmosphere that naturally merges with the adjacent green area. Masses of herbaceous plants subtly divide the yard into distinct zones, allowing the landscape to reveal itself gradually. This is how a cozy, safe, and lively outdoor environment was born—where water, functionality, and a natural landscape work together as one.
