Jaukus sodas

An environment designed by our team in Kaunas, reflecting the client’s wish to create a cozy and private outdoor area. The goal was to properly balance comfort and privacy. Privacy in the inner courtyard was achieved by designing a lightweight-structure canopy set slightly away from the house, while mountain pines provide a natural screen from the neighbors. The terrace between the house and the canopy naturally divides the yard into two parts—like two separate “rooms.” The garden at the back of the plot receives sufficient light and, by its presence, does not compete with the leisure zone or the fire pit surrounded by herbaceous plants. The loungers and chairs placed here allow the owners to enjoy the sun during the summer. In the front part of the plot, a dog enclosure has been integrated into the overall landscape structure, concealing it among pines, tall herbaceous plants, and rowan trees. Clumps of miscanthus around the fire pit create the impression of a safe, enclosed courtyard, while the blooms of panicle hydrangeas delight and decorate the terrace approach throughout summer and autumn. Every detail of this landscape was carefully considered to create a harmonious, functional, and aesthetically appealing environment—one that feels good to be in all year round.
