I hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). From childhood, as far back as I can remember, I was the class representative at school and later the group representative at university. I have always felt a natural inclination to organise, structure, plan responsibly, and take care of the overall process.
Alongside my studies, and later after graduating, I primarily realised myself in managerial and administrative roles. This path allowed me to combine organisational skills with professional knowledge and became a strong foundation for my further career.
Joining the Darnios erdvės studio felt like a natural fit. My background in environmental engineering, combined with managerial experience, enables me to act as a bridge between clients, the team, and the projects. I find great satisfaction in answering clients’ questions, planning the studio’s workflow, and communicating daily with both clients and colleagues.
This daily dynamic, communication, and involvement in the creative process give meaning and joy to my work within the team.

Nature and outdoor spaces have inspired a sense of wonder in me since early childhood. Ancient wisdom suggests that the profession of a gardener is one that brings the greatest pleasure and fulfillment. I believe this idea remains relevant today, even if it is sometimes forgotten. Gardening is more than plant care — it is a dialogue with the environment, an attentiveness to its needs, and an understanding of the changes taking place within it.
As environmental design professionals, we strive to create balance between functional planting zones, pathways, lighting, and other elements, always considering both the characteristics of the site and the individuality of the client.
My work is not defined by a single landscape style. On the contrary, what matters most is finding the right balance between functionality, practicality, aesthetics, and the inherent qualities of the space.
I am sensitive to natural aesthetics, balance, and proportion. I have been working in landscape design for over 25 years, gaining experience across a wide range of environments — large and small, private and public.
A well-executed landscape is sustainable and requires minimal maintenance. It creates harmony and a sense of calm. This philosophy guides every project I design.

In life, I have explored several professional paths, yet my love for nature and plants ultimately led me to study environmental engineering and landscape design. What began as a hobby gradually evolved into a profession — landscape design — which has become the work I truly cherish. This field allows me to combine creativity, principles of sustainable planning, and a deep appreciation for nature in order to create environments where people feel good.
Through my work, I have witnessed how profoundly a well-designed outdoor space can influence everyday life — from creating a more welcoming home environment to shaping vibrant and attractive public spaces. I am particularly drawn to integrating greenery into urban structures, striving to bring green spaces closer to people, create areas for rest and connection, and address environmental challenges such as stormwater management and the urban heat island effect.
For me, landscape architecture is an opportunity to build harmony between people and nature — to shape spaces that are not only visually appealing, but meaningful, functional, and emotionally connected to their surroundings.

For me, a garden is more than just plants. It is a living space where emotions, experiences, and memories are created. It can become an inseparable part of one’s life, offering moments of calm, joy, wonder, and inspiration. I believe that a thoughtfully designed environment enriches everyday life and enhances overall well-being.
Since childhood, nature has been close to me. Wandering through gardens and meadows, I learned to notice beauty in the smallest details and to listen to the rhythms of nature. This early connection fostered a sensitivity to the environment that today guides me in creating spaces where people can find harmony with nature.
In my work, I begin by understanding the person and their lifestyle. Every client and every site is unique, which is why each solution is individually tailored to its specific context. It is important to me that the created environment is not only aesthetically pleasing but also personally meaningful — a place where one feels at ease, can relax, create, and build memories.
Attentive listening, genuine collaboration, and a creative approach allow a plot of land to transform into a space with its own character and atmosphere.

Architect
Eglė Pipiraitė
Since graduating from Kaunas University of Technology in 2014, I have been working as an architect. During my studies, I began to realise that every building — even a commercial one — requires a carefully designed surrounding environment. It helps to emphasise key architectural features and soften or conceal imperfections.
I firmly believe that a plant placed in the wrong location can, over time, become a real issue and overshadow what truly matters.
That is why I am proud to be part of our team, where we design harmonious environments with great attention and responsibility — down to the smallest details.

Time spent in nature during childhood and living among forests left a lasting imprint of natural beauty and harmony in my soul.
Later, as I became a professional photographer, I began to explore aesthetics, spatial perception, and environmental awareness more deeply. I expressed this understanding by founding a company producing photography products, where I also developed my first entrepreneurial skills.
I believe that by establishing Darnios erdvės, I was able to unite my experience and passions. I enjoy being personally involved in projects, as they create beauty and truly transform people’s lives.
It brings me joy to see how a thoughtfully designed environment affects people and helps them reconnect with natural harmony.
Eastern philosophy, psychology, long-term practice of Kendo, and travels through Japan are key sources of my inspiration. I strive to ensure that this calm and mindful philosophy is reflected in our team’s work. I sincerely believe it is.

Managing Director
Vaidotas Gudeliauskas
My educational background is in forestry, yet for the past 16 years I have been dedicated to the realisation of harmonious outdoor environments.
From childhood, when I would spend hours playing outside, I observed the changes taking place in nature and explored forest ecosystems. I can confidently say that nature has always been — and remains — my primary source of inspiration. It is my everyday environment.
I consider myself driven by growth and constantly searching for new possibilities. For some, landscape implementation may seem neither refined nor particularly engaging. For me, it is deeply meaningful.
Seeing clients’ reactions — the surprise in their eyes when they experience a completed project, the smiles when plants take root and mature — carries immense value. To witness and be part of that transformation is profoundly rewarding. It motivates me to move forward and strive every day to create more harmonious environments — spaces that can truly change people’s lives.
